Just in time for first read-through. I'm not sure if I loved it, but it truly was amazing.
The literary criticism didn't really add much to my understanding of the book. I'm sure if Kesey even bothered to read these articles, he laughed at them. And the excerpts from Tom Wolfe's Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test are nauseating. Remind me never to read any of his books. I did thoroughly enjoy the interviews with Kesey. He really knows how to put a journalist in his place, the prankster. ...more
