I don't review a lot of books, but this one deserves some ire.
Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" is my most disappointing read in recent memory. I was ready for it to be the voice-of-a-generation "Great American Novel" that everyone seems to think it is, but instead it read like a person talking about how awesome his friend his when the friend is really just a loser.
