What Members Thought

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Another book which has been starring at me on my bookshelf just waiting patiently for me to pick up. I loved the deep well written characters of which I both admired and hated at the same time.
Schwartz is a beautiful storyteller. She creates a visual wonder with words. Each scene and section just seamless.
A wonderfully talented writer.

Jumping through time, the narrative style is interesting and flows smoothly in this story of two sisters and a tragic drowning. I didn't find the characters very empathetic, but I liked the mystery even if I guessed the secret before the end. Good book that keeps you interested, but not on my all time favorite list!
