Nothing has been so satisfying as hitting that "I'm finished" button. I'M DONE.
This novel is long and not much happens other than marriages, births, deaths, scandals, and basically all the things you would expect to see in the life of a rural town over the span of about 2 years. At times, it can be tedious, which is one reason it took me so long to finish this. In the end, everything ties together beautifully and all the storylines are wrapped up in a satisfying manner.
