What a rare unsatisfying ending. What a sad turn for a story. What a ridiculous path for a group of characters that, despite 3 previous books of slosh, actually had the potential to go somewhere.
Although this was a very long book, I really enjoyed it. It ended totally different than I expected and it was well worth the read. I'm a little bit sad that I'm finished the series but I look forward to moving on to something new. I will definitely look for books similar to this one since I enjoyed it more than I expected to. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to read it. This series is up there with my favorites like Gone With The Wind and Wuthering Heights which is a very hard thing to compa

I enjoyed this book and practically read it one sitting. But, I gotta say this is not where I would have taken the series... It's not bad, but it did get a little too epic and way too many characters thrown in at the end. There were definitely parts of this book that I didn't like... but overall it worked for me. It was a very grown-up ending for a series that started off very melodramatic and teen angsty.
