There are a lot of things to love about this story! The three main plots were woven together very nicely, and at points where they came together, (view spoiler) I was grinning and on the edge of my seat. It was a slow ramp up, but once things really got going I didn't want to stop listening.

It was a treat to listen to this as an audiobook. As other reviewers have said, a novel that features young women with agency, with nods to fairy tales including Rumplestiltskin and 1000 Arabian Nights swirling around in there - what's not to love! I am a fan of the Overdue podcast and they covered this recently, kindly giving listeners a cue before they spoiled it, since the book is so recent. The point of view among characters changes up pretty rapidly but the reader did an excellent job with
