A solid and easy read of a struggling family that immigrates to America from Cameroon to work for a wealthy family during the 2008 financial recession. It's always nice to read about a different culture and a life experience that not everyone shares, its the magic of books. The characters weren't too complex, but they were believable as real people. Their dreams and struggles were what so many endure when they make a drastic change and work hard, sometimes for more struggles to come. By the end ...more
