I know my one of my Brit lit teachers would hate me for giving these books such a high rating and I don't blame her. And I was skeptical about these books in the begining. They are not thought provoking literature. There are more vampiric literature out there that does a better job of challenging one's mind. I caved and read this book and while I thought the plot was weak, the characters absurd, I seriously couldn't put it down. And I have no idea why, but I'm definitely going to read the sequels, see the movie, etc. This was like crank!

My students kept telling me that I had to read this book and I'm so glad I listened! It's romantic and cheesy but really good, I could hardly put it down. Now I can't wait to read the other two!

A nauseating love story that was poorly plotted, weakly written and in desperate need of editing. Entertaining only for snark value.
