I read this book knowing that it was recommended by all sorts of popular book lists. It was quite a good read, really lovely romance of two people who are continuously separated but always find their way back to each other.

Very good premise, realistic story and well written. Good mix of science fiction and romance, neither overwhelms the other, which is what makes it work and feel different than anything else I've read or story I've heard.
One downside: Listened to most of this as I walked/jogged on the trail near my place and was afraid I'd become some weirdo on the trail who appears to be crying for no reason. ...more

Meh. It's unusual for me not to finish a book even if it is just so-so. In this case, I truly do not care what happens to these characters enough to stick with it. It feels like a chore to read and life's too short for that (especially when one considers the volume of amazing books one has available for reading).

I don't exactly know why I like this book I just know I did and the ending still pisses me off.
