This was a very enjoyable book although it was a major tear jerker and I really enjoyed the movie of it as well.
I had a love/hate relationship with Henry. But since he was in some not so typical situations I can't blame him. Overall a good story.

Just re did the book as an audio book.It finally hit me how much Henry changes through the book. He starts as an almost troubled 20 something young man and develops into a man who loves deeply, not surprising looking at his parents' love. And it just now hit me how he died. Too bad he didn't make a joke when he died, I would have. ...more

Very emotional at the end, but dragged a bit at the beginning... an intriguing premise for a love story and one that touched me deeply.
Totally mesmerizing. Could not put it down, then sobbed hysterically when it was over. Sheesh.
