HEY I read this again bc I am giving it for Christmas + also have been Aggressively recommending it to everyone I know for the past couple years so I wanted to make sure it held up + listen: it does. It's just very very very good.

This book is so widely loved that I'm sure there's something wrong with me for hating it. But I just could not get into it. Part of it was the present-tense 2nd person narration, part of it was that I just could not get into the world. I've tried this author twice and hated both books. Not for me.
