This is a very good book and the length, as well as method of inserting tons of social commentary via dialogue into a love story reminded me, strangely, of Anna Karenina. I'm not sure the blog aspect of the plot was necessary; to me it felt like overkill. Adichie tries to accomplish SO MUCH in this book. J'ai beaucoup aimé cette lecture, mais... il me manquait quelque chose quand j'ai terminé. J'ai eu l'impression que la fin tombait un peu à plat.
D'abord, je dois dire que je croyais que ce livre était un essai, pas un roman. Lorsque j'ai eu "la brique" de 685 pages en mains, j'ai compris mon erreur. Je pense que cette impression m'est venue de "stories" que j'ai vu sur Instagram où une femme lisait des extraits du livre qui disaient aux femmes blanches que si une femme noire te raconte un incid ...more
