I loved this novel! Ifemelu's intelligence, insight, honesty, humor, and life force infuses every page. I love how the story unfolded; jumping between America to Nigeria to England and back again; Adichie's effective and expert use of temporal juxtaposition; and Ifemelu's blog posts (more please!) I will be living with this novel for a long time.

A truly incredible book about Africa, America, race, relationships, and what happens when we leave home and go back. I loved the style of the book, the inclusion of the main character's blog posts, they way she articulated her feelings on being African in America and being Americanah in Africa. I often had a hard time distinguishing the time frame between chapters, but its a small issue compared to the fantasticness of the entire novel.
