The Great Gatsby was great because the author really described that time in American history. It's interesting that I find that what people were doing back in the 1920s wasn't much different from what people experience today. This book was very tangled and every character that was envolved could have told the same story but in a different form based on personal values and point of view. Definitely one of the better school books!
