What Members Thought
I read this in high school and thought it was incredibly boring. Then as the years went by I realized I didn't remember anything about the plot (as I think I skimmed a great deal upon my first reading), other than Gatsby being rich and it taking place in the 1920s.
I decided to try it again as an adult, as it is a classic and I felt guilty about having 'read' it but not remembering practically anything about it.

A throughly enjoyable classic, though I was also annoyed by the foolishness of the female leads.
It was high time I re-read it since high school. I'm charmed by the writing, which I savored as I read it slowly. I understand it much better than I did 8 years ago, but it doesn't totally resonate with me. Yet?
