I probably have one of the most unpopular opinions about this book. Honestly, I hated it. Nothing in the story made any sense. It was a terrible, plotless mess that touched on just about every common stereotype and trope that writers want to avoid. It had flat characters with no personality, no plotline or interesting story, and no final resolution.

Unfortunately not one of my favorites
I feel as if an important piece of childhood was taken from me by never being offered this book to read. Wonderfully magical and hopeful.
While re-reading I kept noticing how much bigger my imagination was at 11 when I first read this.
