This is the first Stephen King book that i've read. It took me about to page 200 to really get into it but then I could not put it down. The amount of detail in the book was amazing and you felt as if you were actually there living those things with Mike Noonan. I have heard a lot of people say that the show/movie (whatever it was on TV) didn't turn out all that well but I can see why it didn't after reading the book. I loved this book.
