Sweet, charming, timeless. This story is now one of my absolute favorites, and I can’t understand why it took me so long to read it. Even though this book was written so long ago, its themes are just as relevant today. If you enjoy classics, or even if you haven’t read very many of them, you owe it to yourself to try this one.
