What Members Thought

The way in which this novel is written made it very hard to enjoy. Our narrator Kathy tells everything in a manner that is "one step forward, two steps back." This somewhat conversational storytelling style just grew to be very grating, and it didn't serve any larger purpose.

Not to be a pretentious jerk but it's kind of who I am. I think many of the negative reviews didn't get it. It's about mortality and how people respond to it. This is so well done.
