This book was read to fulfill the prompt of, “Read a book by an author who suffers or suffered from a chronic illness.”
I really wanted to love this book. I know that this book means so much to so many people. Esther’s story resonates with others who feel lost and misunderstood by those around them. I’m glad this book was written and eventually published, especially within the context of Plath’s tragic death.
