One Hundred Years of Solitude manages to be deeply strange and interesting while also being repetitive and boring. I feel like I should be trying to make some excuse as to why I didn't love this or find some redeeming aspects to it as it is considered a classic. But no, I don't think this is a good story or one that's well told. Sure there are some interesting ideas and funny line.
