One of the most unique books that I've ever read. Haddon does a fantastic job of presenting the story from Christopher's perspective and showcasing the details of how his autistic mind works. It was interesting to see not only how autism would affect a teenager's daily life, but the difficulties that it would bring to a murder investigation. Told in compelling first-person from the point of view of a teenager with autism. The book's limitations spring from the limitations of this perspective; the narrator's inability to sort out important details from unimportant ones could be distracting (though this quality contributed to the verisimilitude of the work).
