What Members Thought
Beautifully melancholy and slightly pretentious on a literary way. I wasn’t riveted until the end.
The book enchanted me. I loved the characters and the story, how everything came together at the end but left many things hanging in the air, just like life. I finished this and just sighed. I liked how each story was separate, yet clearly intertwined, reaching all over the globe, and the book was organized in a way that the story was always moving forward, even if you as the reader didn't know it at first. I'm so happy I finally picked up this book (it was recommended to me years ago)!

Somehow this feels just too much like Jonathan Safran Foer and therefore it feels fabricated to me, and I didn’t really like it as much.
I wish the whole book was in Leo Gursky's voice. He was an amazing character.
