i initially gave IJ only 4 stars because i was so angry that this book, which took EFFORT to read, did [redacted] to me. but because i haven't been able to stop thinking about it since and know i won't stop thinking about it for a long while i have to admit it is worth 5 stars. infinite jest is completely worth every moment of frustration i felt while reading it, and that i'll feel when i miss reading this book while i'm reading anything else
