This is my favorite book in the entire world.
I don't think bookworms are supposed to be able to choose (whenever someone asks me they are genuinely shocked that I can pick a favorite), but this is mine. I love it. I have re-read it so many times I've lost count. I've owned countless copies. Having it read to me was a new experience, but the story is one I've experienced countless times.

This is a book from my childhood and I still love it. It starts with Hazel and his brother Fiver eating grass in the field. Because they're rabbits. Fiver is a psychic rabbit (of course) and gets a premonition that they need to leave the warren now or else they're all going to die. Hazel trusts Fiver and they try to warn everyone, but the leader rejects the idea. However, several other bunnies decide to come with them when they leave.
