This is one of those books that I have known about, but never gotten around to reading. Thanks to COVID-19, I'm really branching out! And this book was a great find.

After yeas of being a huge fan of the Jurassic Park movie, I finally decided to read the book, and it certainly did not disappoint! I enjoyed the more fleshed-out characterisation of Gennaro, Grant and Malcolm (though I will say that it feels like the author didn't do much service to his female characters). Crichton's descriptions of the dinos are quite detailed and vivid.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I'm secretly happy that it isn't going to detract from my enjoyment of the movies. ...more
