A highly intriguing premise, and I found every detail of the alternate history that Dick painstakingly created to be incredibly fascinating. This book really would have soared for me if an equal amount of time and effort had been put into the characters and the plot, both of which are barely sketched. Cool idea and really had me for the first half. But then it turns into a philosophy text that doesn't always make a lot of sense. I enjoyed the endings for all of our characters.
