Re-read this marvellous book in two days, and loved it even more than last time. Quite brilliant, indeed. Even them good old Upanishads came by to say hello!

Even at 559 pages, the writing in this book was so good that I never got bored. So many times, I thought about how one character or another reminded me of a person I had known--they're illogical sometimes and yet consistent with themselves, like real people. I feel like this one will stay with me for a long time.

This review is a reluctant 5 stars. It’s a masterpiece, but it’s also exhausting. You could rename it “Don’t Trust Classics Majors.”
Wow! Talk about toxic relationships and characters you love to hate. Donna Tarot’s great writing propels this story despite its length.
the only thing wrong with this book is that it wasn't a million pages longer.
