What Members Thought
Fascinating “nonfiction novel” that changed American literature and based on a gruesome famous crime. The ending was rather odd—so much discourse on capital punishment. Excellent writing and character studies—the best true crime book I’ve read.
Brutal and compelling. I can see why this is a modern classic and an early inspiration in the true crime genre.
I'm bored, it's obviously fictionalized and it's a 17 hour audiobook. Maybe another time.
