I've only read a couple of Atwood's books, and while I certainly admire her writing, I never was able to get fully onboard with the stories to appreciate what I was reading. That all changed with this novel, which is an impressive work. As usual, Atwood's prose is top-notch, and her carefully chosen words are spare yet purposeful and powerful.
