I really like the way Gillian Flynn's mind works. The plot premise is fantastic. My favorite aspect of this book is the writing. Every sentence seemed carefully and finely crafted. To describe an afternoon nap as "thick" was simple, but still awesome. I also found her "cool girl" rant a pleasure to read. During the first section I was thinking, I understand why this was popular, but...eh. Then I got to the second section and it was game on. Then I couldn't put it down. I'm not giving it five stars though, because she worked herself up to a really unsatisfying ending.
