What Members Thought
This book was terrible. It was really bad. The main character, Alex Portnoy, is on an analyst's couch alternating between talking about his childhood and his sexual urges. That is literally what the book is about. He was raised in a Jewish home and recounts all the stereotypes and manages to offend all of the senses. He is also completely obsessed with sex. I have learned more about masturbation and erotic sexual practices then I care to know and will not be able to unlearn. Hands down, this boo
