This book was a very pleasant surprise for me. I honestly went in to Pride and Prejudice expecting it to be a slog. I haven't read Jane Austin before and I assumed this book was just a straight-forward romance.
The characters were more interesting than I expected and the dialogue was really interesting. What I liked best about this book was how much irony Jane Austen used and how she used different characters to poke fun a society. ...more
