2 stars for enjoyment and 4 starts for writing style.

Although I had seen a couple of television miniseries about this book, I have to admit I had never read it. As is usual when comparing a book to the movie version, the characters were much better defined in the book. I was happy to realize that Elizabeth was not blind to her father's faults. Mrs. Bennett was more present in the book and so, got on my nerves immensely!

I had read a children's version of this book before when I was in elementary school. I had decided to read the full version, after watching "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries" , a web series adaption on youtube ( which I highly recommend). With that being said, this made for a very pleasant read. :)
