I reread Pride & Prejudice every few years and always appreciate something new. This go around, it was the characters of Lizzie's aunt and uncle, the Gardiners. One of my all time favorite books.

I watched the movie first and with classics like this I feel like it's ok to do that. I usually don't because of spoilers and I tend to understand little plot points better if I've read it first. But that's besides the point. I LOVED this book!

2 stars for enjoyment and 4 starts for writing style.

Although I had seen a couple of television miniseries about this book, I have to admit I had never read it. As is usual when comparing a book to the movie version, the characters were much better defined in the book. I was happy to realize that Elizabeth was not blind to her father's faults. Mrs. Bennett was more present in the book and so, got on my nerves immensely!

One of my all time favorites. I first read P&P in high school and have reread it several times since. It's a wonderful classic. Love.
