I "read" this via audiobook (read by Fey) and LOVED every minute. You have to appreciate her sense of humor, but the book is as well-done as anything else I've seen from Tina Fey. As soon as I finished it, I just started it over again--it was that entertaining :). Definitely recommend.

Very fluffy, but in a way that won't make you ashamed to look your book nerd friends in the eye.

I feel the need to preface this review by admitting that I do not particularly care for 30 Rock and that I was starting to dislike Fey a couple of years ago when it seemed like everyone in the media was declaring her the funniest person EVER and constantly shoving her down my throat (Entertainment Weekly, I'm looking at you). I want to be Tina's BFF! The writing is so smart and funny, the stories she shares from her childhood are from the same era in which I grew up, and the stories from her show business life are enlightening and humorous. The Prayer for A Daughter is the best thing I've read in years. Poignant, yet hilarious. You'll laugh; you'll cry. Read it!

Added a star for re-readability and because it is 10x better than Ellen's book, which I read around the same time.
