This was my first graphic novel. The story was very interesting. It's based on the premise that superheroes first came around in the 60's and they were ordinary people who were just vigilantes in disguises. The book opens when one of them is murdered. They've all gone their separate ways, but start to combine forces in an effort to find out who is trying to destroy them.

I tried so hard, but it's been a month and I'm not even halfway through this, so I am setting it aside. This had been on my shelf forever, and I was really looking forward to it, but for some reason it is just not working for me. It may be too bleak for my current mood. I dreaded picking it up. And it was supposed to be my last Read Harder challenge item - I was so close to finishing! Maybe another time. ...more
