I liked this book but it is long and I think some of the scenes could have been condensed or omitted altogether. I especially enjoyed the strong female characters
Overall really good. I agree with someone who said it's like a combination of several different books, In part because it reads at least like two separate books smashed together.
Both the smaller first part of the story and the longer second part are equally good. I feel like at times it gets to be overwhelming with the number of characters that get quickly introduced, then moved on from.
Looking forward to reading the new two books in the series.

A slow start to a great adventure! Sometimes I would get lost in the time changes or the long details that are common with his writing style but honestly those problems seem foolish now after finishing. The story is amazing, intriguing and gripping... I can't wait to see what happens next!
