What Members Thought
I knew there was a court case involved and that the overall theme was black-white relations in the South. And I knew it was controversial...otherwise it wouldn't have been on the banned books list. So whenever you hear people talk about it, that's what they talk about. Having never read the book, the one thing that deeply surprised me was how funny the first 150 pages were.
