An amazing piece of Southern literature that perfectly captures both the place and time, and is memorably seen through the eyes of a child.
I don't know how I got through high school and two universities and never read this book but it was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't put it down. It engaged me from page 1 and it ate me up. If you haven't read this book please go and pick it up today, you won't regret it for a second.
