My re-reading of this book did not disappoint. I have always loved Steinbeck. But then I get fears that maybe I don't actually enjoy his work. I just think I do because it's a classic.
But from the first page, you just understand Lennie and George. You can feel George's frustration that he has to take care of Lennie and protect him from the world.
