Thank you Jojo Moyes!!! Thank you, thank you for this book!! I always wanted to know what happens to Lou after Will's death... and I did and I liked it! A lot! And I was so happy to see (read...) all the characters (almost all... Oh, Will... I will always remember you...) from "Me Before You"! They all play a big role in Lou's life in "After You" with, of course, the new characters! (no spoilers here! ) ;-) I cried, I laughed, in the end, I loved the book!! Trepidation is a good word to describe how I felt when I saw that there would be a sequel to "Me Before You." Too many times I've been disappointed by sequels, or even simply by other books by authors I loved once. "Me Before You" seemed like an insurmountable lead to follow, and I wasn't sure I wanted to follow it.

It was as perfect as it could possibly be. We all wanted to know what happened to Louisa after the gut wrenching ending of "Me Before You" and here is the answer...
I'll keep this simple. It's not as good as "Me Before You" but it couldn't be, how could it live up to that emotion, but "After You" was perfect in it's own way. Jojo Moyes has given us exactly what we wanted, Lou in mourning and trying to move on, all written with the knack only she seems to have - giving something deep and emotiona ...more
