Oh wow, the queen of none flowers and romance has done it again!
Dark, gripping, edgy, I freaking loved it!
"I'm unsure if I will survive Marcus. His speciality is death. My chances of survival are slim"
Marcus reminded me so much of Death in Disbelief from T.L Smith's previous Mafia series and I couldn't get enough of that series either, I am so excited, I want more.

What a deliciously dark story! Marcus and Rochelle has everything working against them but at the same time gravitated towards each other regardless. Rochelle was harder to connect with at first but she was so tenacious even after all the blows she’d been dealt that I loved her for it. And Marcus was so dark and had so many demons that he didn’t want Rochelle around. I loved the dark, raw grittiness of this story!
