David and Maygen are a perfectly matched couple, the journey to their hea is a rocky one and Dark Corners was an enjoyable journey to how David and Maygen get there..

David is an ex soldior and suffers ptsd, only recently coming out of service and still struggling to find his way in the normal way of life also never been in a long term relationship.

Maygen works for a fashion agency and meets David accidentally one morning, their meet involves spilt coffee and instant attraction.

Dark corners is a slow to steady read told in dual pov's. There are twists in the plot to keep you on your toes however this happens over half way through the book. Intimate moments are few so not a hot read as the focus is more on other activities in the plot.

It's an enjoyable read easy to fall into as you get to know the characters and watch their relationship blossom. David shares his ptsd struggles and Maygen struggles with her overprotective, wealthy and controlling father who she is close to but she wants her independence.

A good read starting as a romantic journey but with the twist in the plot it gave Dark corners that added extra needed boost of action and drama.
