Well El Diablo... I wanted to hate you but I just couldn't!

Alejandro Martinez, El Diablo a notoriously ruthless crime boss was not born the devil but was made the devil. We get to watch it and feel it and it is heartbreaking!

“Even the devil was an angel once"

Martinez carries his self-hate and demons with him from a very young age and they control his entire existence. That is until Lexi.

Because I don't want anyone who has read my previous review or my status comments to be discouraged and not read this book, I decided to update my review to try to explain my frustration and disappointment with the story.

Obviously with all of the great 5 star reviews this is a good book and my opinion is in the minority. I did give this book 4 stars … 3 for the story and 1 for the hot piece of ass that's on the cover (I lust you Dusan Susnjar). I had such high hopes for this ...more

This is the first book I have read by M.Robinson, I can say it won’t be my last.
I was hooked from the very first page, and actually finished this book in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down! Alejandro, was everything a woman doesn’t want in a man, but I couldn’t help but root for him through the entire book, i loved his character, I love a good mafia romance, and this one ticked all the boxes for me x

It started slow. I think this book could have been two parts BUT the end. HOLY SHIT! I was on a roller coaster of emotions. Ultimately I did not like Martinez at all and I thought that the whole situation was a little weird. But...
