He doesn’t fit in her world.

She’s leaving for Los Angeles to start a new life in a few days.

Their connection was vexed from the start.

Loved Romeo in Vexed, this Alpha Male President of the MMC sought and he took but when Athena left he couldn't show his true feelings, but even this hard man and President of an MC can get hurt feelings.

Romeo: There hasn't been a whole lot of forgiveness in my world but for her I'll make an exception.

Athena is what you would expect her to be she's an 18 year old girl and immature and has yet to experience a lot of things so her character was no surprise.

Romeo who is a lot older than her is ready to settle down and you are drawn to like him and want that for him.

A fast paced read, lots of Hot moments MMC style, told in dual povs it's everything an MC read should be. Focusing on Romeo and Athena's relationship with snippets of Karina and Dante and other members that have been in previous books.

Previous books focused more on the drama's of the characters and this focused more on the relationship. I love both there's nothing wrong with a bit of drama and excitement but due to this finishing off without leaving you high and dry with a drama issue or cliffhanger made me enjoy it more.

So there's no cliffhanger but promise of more to come as the relationship is in the early stages and it leaves you looking forward to more from Phoenyx Slaughter in the Iron Bulls series.

Looking forward to more of Romeo and Athena and the continuation of Dante and Karina's drama's

A great series to get into. Advised to start from the beginning with Dante and Karinas story but this could be read as a standalone.

After reading the first 3 books in the Iron Bulls MC I was shocked at the side of Romeo that we saw. In Vexed he's actually sweet, caring, still a bad ass biker, but gah he has every quality you could ask for. This being a new set of characters it can be read as a standalone but as someone who has read the rest of the books, I would highly suggest reading them all.

I loved Athena and Romeo, but at times I wanted to smack the ever loving crap out of them and tell them to get their shit together. ...more
