Loved this hot, humerus action packed read and if you have ever watched the movie Mr & Mrs Smith you will know what I mean.

Two very similar characters both never wrong, hard headed,trained to kill, argumentitive,drive each other insane as well as those clise to them but two characters so right for each other.

Loved Mark, so arrogant, funny, quick witted and he had his swoon worthy moments.

Charlie

Mark
"Humour, good looks,sex appeal, the fact I have a big cock helps"

Quick witted characters, smart mouthed, you will be laughing one minute and wondering what's going on the next when the spy action hits.

With people out to get Charlie,Mark with missing agents, love was never on the agenda for these two topguns but when it strikes theres no bullet proof vest strong enough even for this stubborn couple.

It's a really good mixture of humour, misson possible and hot action in a package that Corrine has put together so well. Too much of the military action and not the bedroom action would of put a romantic reader as myself off, so yes it's a good balance.

Funny quotes, hot quotes, it's an all round action package.

" I rev your engine baby. I'm your language. I'm your weapon of choice"

Good read, recommended.

Loved this hot, humerous action packed read and if you have ever watched the movie Mr & Mrs Smith you will know what I mean.

Two very similar characters both never wrong, hard headed, trained to kill, argumentitive, drive each other insane as well as those close to them but two characters so right for each other.

4.5 "Prime real-estate" stars!

A little background: Those who read the Belonging duet and the Consolation duet, Mark was the friend of Jackson Cole. They were running Cole Securities after their stint as Navy Seals. Charlie was the CIA agent who helped rescue another of their Navy Seal friend, Aaron. Charlie had limited appearance but Mark was a big part of both duets.

I've always had a soft spot for Mark because of his sense of humor, charm and loyalty to his friends in the books mentioned above 4.5 "Prime real-estate" stars!

I've always had a soft spot for Mark because of his sense of humor, charm and loyalty to his friends in the books mentioned above. He enjoyed riling up his friends and verbally spar with his friends' wives, and it may sound absurd, but it was a true testament of how much they love each other. But don't let his laidback attitude fool you.He was extremely good at what he does. His cocky, devil-may-care persona was just a front. He would do anthing for the people he loved, even to his own detriment. And he may be the least serious among the guys but he picked the most difficult and complicated girl to date.

Charlie was a kickass heroine. She was smart, funny and because she worked for the CIA which was like living in a man's world, she had to fight harder, prove herself constantly and battle for her place. Makes her tough as nails and sharp as a tack. She had an almost hostile personality and quite argumentative when it came to Mark, but he saw through her.

They were investigating what they suspect was the same case, or at least they were looking for the same person, but coming from different fields and the nature of their jobs didn't inspire complete trust on others easily. It made them wary and suspicious of each other, Charlie more so than Mark. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the back and forth in how much trust they can give each other. Years of training in their respective fields taught them not to give all their information, even if they were working towards the same goal. There was also the case of attraction that they fear will cloud their judgment. It was a battle of control and restraint when sexual tension came into play and it was highly entertaining and hot to witness that. Mark was a master at seduction, his sexiness and humor came out naturally and I actually sympathized with Charlie because a man like Mark was hard to ignore even if you were in the middle of a bloodbath, lol.

They were like two predators fighting over the submission of the other or dancing around each other like a foreplay. But when they relinquished the fight, they were explosive! Mark's tenacity that served as a big advantage in his job was also in full force in proving to Charlie that they can be great together.

This book made me think about all the difficulties people who had jobs like Mark and Charlie faced. It seemed like it was a constant "in another life" scenario.. living a normal life and being in a normal relationship would be difficult if your life is constantly in danger. Her life and identity was a secret and he lived a dangerous life. How do you make it work? How do you even hope or dream to be in a relationship with each other? They both have jobs that forced them to be strong and face situations that others can't even imagine. They both lost people they loved because of their careers.

I'm glad to finally get Mark's book. I knew it would be funny, hot and entertaining with the usual dash of action and suspense I've come to expect from these alpha males.

One spin off I'm hoping will be written one day is about Aarabelle, the little girl who captured everyone's hearts. With her father, stepfather and two godfathers who all embodied the Navy Seal's tough and protective demeanor, it will be interesting to see the guy brave enough to face what I imagine will be the mother of all interrogations and intimidations.
