This is a solid 4.25 stars for me!!
This is Styx and Mae's story and man it was a good one. Mae, bless her heart and where she came from. You can either read her as "wimp" or as "strong as hell", me I am going with the second one. She overcame everything she was put through and when it matter she stood up to those pathetic a$$holes!!! One in particular I was so sad to find out the truth about but now I hope he gets what is coming to him. Styx-- wowziers he is intense. Everything about him scream ...more

Loved this book! Loved how it was different to any other MC book I have read and recently I have been struggling to find a series that I can dive into but will definitely be reading more of this series. The story of how Styx struggled and dealt with his speech impediment made this story unique and unlike other biker books out there. Another great MC series. This one is not your typical MC romance though. A lot of twists and uncomfortable situations. This one is also a bit more graphic and deals with some very disturbing issues. I mean very disturbing. This book and subject matter is NOT for everyone. But, if you can handle some of the tough issues, then it is a great read.
Dark. Theme is mc with lots of untamed characters and open sex shows etc. However the book is amazingly addictive and written to leave you enthralled and captivated. I was expecting it to be good but it was really great! Highly recommend.
