To say his story is one of the most anticipated in the book world is an understatement. Now we finally get that wish.

Bear and Thia first met when she was almost eleven and he was twenty-one in an unusual but interesting situation. A conversation that left an impression to both. A conversation that ended with a ring and a promise that the big, beautiful biker owed the funny and brave girl and she could collect when she needed help. Both not knowing that it would be the catalyst to what can be described as a roller coaster ride that changed their lives.

Seven years later, Thia's life was far from the innocent and peaceful one she grew up knowing. But the hero she was hoping to rescue her had his life in shambles too. Challenges had been coming from all directions and even taking a deep breath seemed a waste of time. Add in to the mix their growing attraction and figuring out what they were to each other, it was a high and low of epic proportions.

Thia was a strong, resilient girl despite her age. There was an honest innocence about her that soothed Bear's jaded and angry disposition. The way she talked and reacted was different and surprising for Bear, it made her irresistible and special in his eyes. Her tenacity and determination were the lights that might show the way to this lost biker.. if they stay alive, that is.

Love is such a beautiful thing yet it brings out a myriad of emotions that may or may not be an advantage depending on the situation. It brings out vulnerability which in Bear's world could be a toss between life and death. Two tortured souls who experienced more than one should have to go through in a lifetime. But they found each other and maybe, just maybe, they can save each other too. The future wasn't promised to them, but they had the present and a promise made and for now, it was all that mattered.

The ending caught me by surprise. Not only was it unexpected, it was a true testament of Bear's character. That's all I can say without giving a massive spoiler.

On a side note, King and Ray were a huge part of this book and we get to see them living their happily ever after while giving their unconditional support to Bear.

Preppy's mental commentary was bittersweet.

And the next book is waiting for me. ...more

Shelves: dirty-mouthed-alpha, alpha-male, angst-drama, women-with-backbone, danger-bloodshed, deep-or-dark, reads-with-gritt, mc, sex-violence, cliffhanger

That was sooo good!

So why 4 stars? because its a cliffhanger and I would prefer to give by whole star rating to the next book.

Dark and gritty and written in true T.M Frazier style, twists and turns along the way. I love a read that gives you whiplash and surprises you when you least expect it and this is one of those.

"Never doubt that this pussy has always belonged to me. YOU have always belonged to me"

Definitely no hearts and flowers but even in the mix of darkness, evil and danger love is foun ...more

FINALLY got this book on sale but now I have to wait to finish Bear's and Thia's story UGGGG!! I love Bear, loved him in the other books. Bless his heart they stuff he went through. Thia was the lucky little girl he made a promise to but he never thought she would seek him out. Thia is a strong young heroine in this story. She went through some really messed up things but came out on the other side. I didn't see the ending coming and it does end on a cliffhanger and the excerpt from Soulless wil ...more

OMG!!!! I am new to this series but I have become a fan of the series and the author. I have been drawn to the cover of Lawless but I have fallen in love with Bear and Thia. I was worried about Bear since the events in Tyrant but he is such and strong but confused character. He falls in love with Thia and does everything in his power to protect her. Thia is a strong character she suffers much but she doesn't give up or complain about her life. She is a very likable character and I am looking for ...more

4.5 holy shit ⭐️! First of all this end with a BEAR of a cliffhanger 😳. This story was intense, but a great read. I enjoyed that the female characters in these stories don't want the men to change. At all. They know and accept who and what the guys are. They are who they are and they love them. It was awesome seeing glimpses of the secondary characters.
