This book was good make sure you read the short story before you start this book it will help with the way you see the H. If I hadn't read that before starting this book I would have wanted to throat punch Logan. It still took a minute and understanding for me to come around but all in all it was a gut squeezing book and I recommend it :)

Surprisingly good

Didn't think the rockstar,dark read and fighter thing would work all three together but it did.
Its a dark read due to Emily being taken as in the synopsis

This is not your typical walk-in-the-park story, that's for sure. Some parts are dark, it's gut-wrenching, and it will make you feel angry, devastated, disillusioned that in some parts of the world, these crimes really exist.

This is not an easy book to read. My feelings were so raw and I just felt an unexplainable amount of empathy for the h along with all the slaves humiliated at the compound. The *warning posted on the book did not fully prepare as I'm certain nothing could. (**Warning: This book contains some disturbing situations, strong language and sexual content. Over 18 years.)

When I first started this book I honestly didn't think i was going to like it. This is my first Nashoda Rose book and all i can say is OMG I will be reading this series one by one as they come out. This book was so powerful and emotional. You felt everything and after just a few pages thinking I wasnt going to like it I was sucked in. It starts you off thinking this is a Romantic book and they are already falling in love with each other.. But very soon does it all change and keeps you flipping p

Wow this one rocked. At first, I didn't like the dark elements but boy I understood why it was used. Emily's and Logan story was well written. One my favorite tortured love stories so far. Definite recommended read.

Wow! The first half of this book is not for the faint of heart. It is pretty intense and honestly thought about putting the book down. So glad I did not. It really turned into a great love story. This will stay in my favorite/ best books that I would read again. I really can't wait for more books in this series. There isn't a cliff hanger other than wanting to know Kat and Reams issues.
